Abortion is the process through which pregnancy is terminated before the right time of birth. Abortion can be executed in two significant forms which include medical abortion and surgical abortion. Medical abortion involves taking medical pills to get rid of the embryo. Surgical abortion involves a minor abortion, which can be either vacuum aspiration or dilation (Grindlay et al., 247). This paper will discuss the causes of abortion among women.
The first reason for abortion among women is financial instability. In most cases, pregnant women lack resources to meet the necessary costs involved to keep the pregnancy to maturity. Some of them end up losing their jobs for them to prevent pregnancy (Grindlay et al., 245-252). In case the pregnancy was unexpected, an individual ends up in financial crisis leading to them opting to abort.
The second cause of abortion is pregnancy at the wrong time. In many cases, young girls get pregnant while they are immature to keep the pregnancy. In another aspect, the girl can be still studying, and it becomes challenging to continue the pregnancy while attending classes (Daniel et al., 181-209). Lastly, the pregnancy at the wrong time can result due to a rape case. Therefore the woman opts to abort the unwanted child due to an incident of rape.
Abortion is that process of terminating the pregnancy before its maturity time. There are many causes of abortion. Some of them include pregnancy at the wrong time of life, in case of rape and lastly financial instability in an individual.
